Stone carving industry is the traditional advantage industry of Hui'an County. The inheritance of stone carving technology has a history of more than 1600 years. Hui'an stone carving is the creator and inheritor of the carving art of the Southern School of China. In 2006, it was rated as the first batch of intangible cultural heritage in China. In 2015, Huian County was named "the capital of stone carving in the world" by the United Nations Crafts Council. The annual output value of stone carving is more than 20 billion yuan, with tens of thousands of employees. Stone carving products have huge market space and influence at home and abroad.
At the same time, with the improvement and development of economic level, Hui'an stone carving is also facing the pain of environmental protection production, technology inheritance and marketing innovation, which urgently needs to achieve the transformation and upgrading of the industry. The formal signing of the contract between Zhongmin group and Hui'an County government represents that both parties intend to work together to build a high-quality industrial park with intensive land use, friendly environment, high efficiency and intelligence, so as to promote the overall transformation and upgrading of Hui'an carving industry.
Huian carving art circular economy industrial park project, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan, covers an area of nearly 1300 Mu and is located in Shanxia Town, Huian County. The industrial park will be developed and constructed by Zhongmin stone industry group in the "Five Unifications" mode of "unified planning, unified construction, unified investment attraction, unified operation and unified publicity", so as to realize the high-quality planning, construction and management operation of the park and promote the rapid implementation of the industrial park.
Based on the environmental protection production, the industrial park will promote the environmental protection production level of Hui'an carving art industry to a higher level, and thoroughly solve the current production pollution problems of scattered enterprises. On this basis, through scientific and reasonable functional zoning, the centralized remediation of environmental protection and intensive use of land can be realized to promote the cluster development of Hui'an carving industry. At the same time, the park will further support the development of carving machinery, creative design, industrial talent training, financial services and other industries, so as to realize the overall service to the industrial cluster.
The park will further integrate the cultural attributes of the carving industry, dig deep into the cultural attributes of the stone carving industry, and build a domestic demonstration industrial tourism base in the way of "cultural tourism integration", so as to promote the overall transformation and upgrading of the stone carving industry in Hui'an, and create a new era for the development of the stone carving industry in Hui'an!
